Take one silver skirt...

Pleated skirt: £29.99 H&M
Jumper: Zara
Shoes: Kurt Geiger £55 was £75
Clutch: Carvela/TK Maxx

So l saw this skirt in H&M and fell in love with it. As soon as l clap my eyes on it l'm already imagining how l'm going to style it and before l know it l'm at the checkout and it's on it's way home with me. Love that thrill of finding something new and exciting!
I would add that l have an obsession with pleated skirts. So ladylike but somehow modern too and the silver especially keeps it looking so.

There are many ways to style it and these are mine:

Outfit 1

Silver looks great with baby blue.
Jumper: old Primark
Shoes: Zara last season

Got the idea after seeing this.....

Outfit 2

This would be great for the office or going out for dinner

Shirt: Zara
Shoes: Jones
Scarf: Italy!
Necklace: The Tokenhouse, Nottingham

Outfit 3

More relaxed look for weekends

Jumper: Sainsburys/TU Clothing (this is a gorgeous quality jumper and they have a equally gorgeous skirt to match that l wish l'd bought).
Loafers: Jones

Outfit 4
Another obsession of mine at the moment is sweatshirts which l would have never worn in the past (same for trainers) and this one from Asos would look great against the silver worn untucked with a pair of white trainers/

Other alternatives out there are this version in red and l love the chunky lace-up boots which are going to be a big trend for 2017 . Currently keeping my eye out for something similar and will no doubt be doing a post soon on that matter.

Love this velvet version from Topshop but can't justify buying this and have one very similar from Zara that l bought this Summer.

  1. I found the Ted Baker version of your skirt at House of Fraser last night (Ted Baker Zainea Metallic Pleated Skirt) and couldn't help it but thinking of you and your post. I look forward to seeing more outfits made from wardrobe in the blog x
